Want to draw a duct layout, show equipment placement on the 3D floor plan? Draw something else? Then want to add it to your design report?
Here's how
1. Open the project and locate the correct floor plan
New to floor plans? Learn more about viewing and editing floor plans.
2. Take a screenshot
Use the iPad's built-in method for taking a screenshot by pressing the power and volume + buttons at the same time.
3. Annotate the screenshot with drawing tools
Pro tip: Long-press with your finger or stylus pen after drawing a line or shape to straighten it automatically.
Add labels or symbols for items like registers and outdoor units.
4. Save the screenshot to your Photo library
When the markup is complete, tap the check mark to finish.
Save the edited image to Photos.
5. Upload the image back into Amply
Return to Amply.
Open the project
Navigate to the Electrical / Other section
Tap the plus sign to add a new item.
Select the picture icon to open Photos.
Choose the saved screenshot and upload it
Name the image how you prefer
