With the release of iOS 26, Apple introduced a new Windowed App feature for the iPad. This can sometimes interfere with Amply’s scanning process, especially if the app is resized or rotated into a window instead of running full screen.
Simple fix
If you notice scanning interruptions, the fix is simple: switch iPad back to Full Screen Apps mode.
Here’s how:
Open System Settings
Search for "Windowed" in the upper left
Select Windowed Apps
Choose Full Screen Apps
That’s it! Amply will run smoothly again.
