How to update Amply manually
We are regularly releasing app updates to improve the Amply scanning experience. We will include links to the App Store in our release announcements. Click on the links in the email or in-app chat while on your iPad to be taken to the App Store. There you will see a button to update the app to the latest version.
I'm not seeing an option to update the app. I only see Open.
If you're seeing in the App Store that says only Open and is not showing Update, that indicates the app is already on the latest version. It's possible your iPad updated in between the time we send you the prompt to update. We apologize for that confusion but you should be on the latest version and good to go!
We recommend automatic App Store Updates
As a general best practice, we recommend setting your iPad App Store preferences to enable "Automatic Updates." This will ensure you always have the latest version of our software as we regularly make improvements and release new features.
How to enable or disable automatic App Updates
To enable or disable automatic updates, do the following:
1. Open the Settings app
2. Search for "App Update" in the settings app
3. Toggle the switch in "App Updates" to either on (green) or off (gray)
